1997: Ori Z. Soltes - "Mitos y Laberintos", Catálogo B'nai B'rith Klutznick National Jewish Museum, Washington, USA

Brewda is Theseus in the labyrinth, but also the Sumerian and Egyptian and Inca priest-poet. But the artist is, in a different related sense, like divinity itself: She creates, on the canvas and in the sculpted or building form, a world in miniature, a microcosm of the universe contrived by God. The worlds of Brewda’s canvases are the multiply-layered, complexly peopled world of human experience.
